dear father,

i praise you for your sovereignty and yet at the same time, knowing me intimately

i confess that i could not give you my whole heart all the time, that sometimes my walk with you seems distant because i don't spend enough time in the word. i know that in all things, i need to pray. prayer is time for us to show each other our hearts and for me to align mine to yours

i thank you for justifying me and i live with knowledge and expectation you have already delivered me from all my shortcomings, past, present and future

i ask that you be my guide, give me an undivided heart that fears the Lord, that seeks you above anything else. Spirit, fill me and give me wisdom and discernment and obedience to follow through on it

i will fall short over and over, but where i am weak, you are strong !
